WinAmp AVS Plugin

DMXControl provides a special Plugin "for the WinAmp Advances Visualization studio (AVS)", with which information about occurring beat as well the use the audio spectrum in DMXControl are supported. To be able to use the Plugin, WinAmp must be installed, inclusive of the AVS. The AVS is already contained by WinAmp in the standard installation.

Select the "Advanced Visualization studio" in the WinAmp settings under "plug-in the > Visualization". It is recommendable under "plug-in" to put a check mark into the box "auto execute visualization plug-in on ply back" to start the Plugin automatically if you play a track.

To install the Plugin for DMXControl, you download the Zip archive NewVis.zip and unpack it to e.g. "C:\Programme\WinAmp\Plugins\avs" (path correspondingly specify). Start WinAmp and the AVS now. After on the right click into the AVS window you should find an entry "DMXControl" in the pop-up menu. After you have selected this, nothing will change apparently in the AVS window because the Plugin does not have any graphical GUI. If you open the beat tool or the Sound Analyzer, the data should be evaluated by WinAmp (in the corresponding mode), now, however.
