Mixer channel

DMXControl uses an internal mixer that collects the DMX outputs of the active tools and generates the output value, which is then passed out on the relevant DMX transmitter.

The different sources (usually tools) are called "mixer channels" and are not to be confused with DMX channels. A mixer channel normally includes the entire DMX channel space, that the respective DMXControl version makes available, 265 as well as 512 channels).

If a mixer-channel is "closed" the output values are recalculated.
