The main windows provides fast access to most important control functions.
The textbook tool supports theater performances. The cues can be synchronously started to stage direction.
Device definition files
DMXControl provides a comprehensive device library by default, but can simply enhanced by XML based device definition files (DDF). The tool DDFCreator supports creation of new device definitions.
Flexible "remote control" of software by external devices or wings. This allows a comfortable manual control by means of hardware devices. Following devices and interfaces are supported:
- mouse, keyboard, joystick
- DMX-In, MIDI, OSC
- serial terminal interface (PDA-control)
Graphical stage view
All devices are shown in a 2-dimensional stage view and can be directly controlled from this view.
The show can be started in beat-triggered mode by internal or external sound analysis.
The audioplayer provides a graphical view of a song where scenes and effects can be assigned to the beats.
Any number of banks can be defined in the submaster view. DMX channels, cues or effects can be assigned to the fader elements.
Generic and DMXControl-specific apps for setup or controlling your show can be connected via open interfaces (e.g. OSC).
Additional DMX transmitters can be attached by own plugins. Also the functionality of DMXControl can be extended by user plugins.
